Wasn't having a dig mate, sorry if it seemed that way. Anyway, to my knowledge, the newer versions of SD2 are just encrypted differently to stop unpacking and have some progs blacklisted. I myself have copied a good 1:1 cd with my Plex. Granted it only works in the Plex but I was expecting that. I honestly believe that most peeps have probs cos of blacklisted software on their PCs, not because of a different bit pattern on these weak sectors. I have seen posted elsewhere (can't remember where, though) that the new sd2 bit patterns are identical to the previous versions. I'll check this out asap and let you know. crispy
