Can someone help me with Max Payne please?

Hi Hugh!

Well, Max Payne is protected with Safedisc 2 - a real nice and hard to copy cd-protection. Because I don´t know your hardware (that means I couldn´t guess if your burner is able to duplicate safedisc2) please try the following to make a backup of May Payne:

First of all, create an empty folder on your harddrive. Only 679 MB of data will be copied, but this is alright. Copy the whole content of the Max Payne disc to your harddive-folder. Download the fixed .exe from the gcw-servers. Burn this all together on an 700 MB disc (overburning a 650 mb disc up to around 680 MB is quite too much!).
To play Max Payne, install the game (full installation), replace the original exe with the patched one after installing. Alright, should work.

If you like to try it with clone cd, set the "fast error correction" flag, intelligent mode, read subchannel data from tracks and set the error-correction mode to: re-trys - 3 and "none".

I hope this may help you. Sorry for bad english - I am a german, don´t speak english very well. I use the german release of Clone CD 3051, the flags may have different names.
