Without nocd_patch or Deamon tool?

Strange that myīn HP9110i couldnīt do that, normally thereīs no problem at all.
But thereīs nothing missing if you use nocd_patch after full install (or is there?) and you donīt have to put CD everytime when you ####t the game, so itīs just ok.

Just wondering...

btw, you used CloneDB, WHY??? You didnīt know that there is newest SafeDisc 2?

Any others who have made fully working 1:1 copy with CloneCD??

Yes, I backed up my Max Payne first thing before I ever even installed it.
It works 100% from a backup made from my Philips 804 and CloneCD 2.8.5.2 with only Fast Error Skip ticked.
It's a GREAT game.
Anyone who likes shooter games run out and BUY this game. Support those who make GOOD games like this.

It is old news that Philips burners can copy SafeDisc v2 so why on earth are you telling it us? To show of or something?

And for the other people that don't know it yet, you have to have a burner that is fully compatible with CloneCD and SafeDisc v2. So if you have a Plextor 12/10/32A like me you are in bad luck since it is only 50% comaptible with SafeDisc v2 , since I can make a working copy of SafeDisc v2 games but they will only work in my own burner and no where else

HP9xxx burners have been always ranked to high just because those read almost everything...seems that itīs time to update myīn burner!?!

##### the CloneCD writer list - all writers able to write regular bit patterns correctly can copy SD2 perfectly ...
all others should use the Daemonīs (www.daemon-tools.com) fast dump feature and play with enabled SafeDisc emulation (Max Payne users: stay tuned for next Daemon version if you want to use the 1.01 patch! Daemon is blacklisted by the new SD2 version 2.40.010! This will be fixed ASAP!) ...

You can use the program Copytooper said or just make your own crack for SafeDisc v2 games by using UnSafeDisc v2 which supports all the SafeDisc v2 protection version accept the newest used with Max Payne but a new version will come out soon so it will supprt the new SafeDisc v2 also

Muskusrat, it may be old news to you and some others, but there are new people coming to this forum all the time and a lot of people have no idea about Safedisc 2, much less how to get around it. I was simply sharing my experience with others. The person who posted right before me asked for input from anyone who has been able to make a 1:1 and so I was telling how I did it.
If it's old news to you, fine. Suck a mean one.
But for those who don't know, maybe I helped them out a little.
And to the person asking if the Philips 804 can back up Securom... no it can't, because it can't read or write full subchannel data... but I have a Sony CRX 160 that would do it.

Yes, I just #####ed Fast Error Skip for reading the image and left everything else "default"....as for writing, I wrote at the 804's max speed...8X.
