What is this game Gothic everyone keeps talking about? Has been released in the US?

hi! i dont know if its been released in us already, but i think it will be released! gothic is the greatest roleplaying game i know. it has fantastic grafix and great gameplay! the story also is verry intressting.
if its out in us just play it, you wont be dissapointed!!!!! by the way: we cant find a crack for the newest version of the game (1.08h) thats why everybody here keeps talking about it!

I dont't know if it released in US, the game's origin country is germany and afaik there is only a german version available
