I'm having trouble burning, or playing NBA Live 2001 without the cd. I tried all of the fixed-exe's, but they don't work. It is the US version. Can anyone help me?

2. What happens exactly when you try to play with the fixed EXE?

One thing I noticed when I backed up NBA Live 2001, is I needed to do a slow burn (1x). I made mine with CloneCD, so I didn't need a crack, but I can recall when I first tried to back the game up, it wouldn't work. I tried the crack and it still wouldn't work. It wasn't until I did a slow burn, it worked.
