My PS2 Lens Eats Games!

I just got my ps2 last night and the damn lens makes a loud ass noise and it smuged my PS2 Demo CD (Jampack) and it also did the same thing to my street fighter game (normal ps game). Is there anything I can do to fix this? maybe adjust the lens? because I gotta drive upstate and return it and I dont wanna go back up there, lol. Thanks! My E-mail me if you can help or reply.
