How can I backup ST- DS9: The Fallen (German) ?

Hi,

how can I backup my copy of the above Game. I found instructions on the UK-Version, but I'm not sure whether I can apply the same patch (1.95 MB) to the german version or not.

Did anybody backup the german version already and therefore can give some info??

You may beable to make a perfectcopy that does not require a patch!
use clonecd but just check what protection it has and whether your writer is compatible!

use clony to tell you what protection it uses ans it will also tell you what settings to use!

I use clonecd 2.8.3.1 and my writer is compatible.

I made a backup, deinstalled the game and reinstalled it with the backup-cd. The installation-process worked, but whenever I try to start the game with the backup-cd, nothing happens. However, I can start it with the Original CD. Is that weird?

What is clony?

Can you help me anymore?

Not really weird as the same thing happens when I backup HitMan. Does that game use SafeDisc 2 for copy protection? It seems SafeDisc 2 is uncrackable yet .

On GamecopyWorld they say it's just CD-Check. Do I need to make special adjustments in clonecd? ???

NO it is not, that means your back up wasn't copied correctly.
get Clonecd V2.8.4.3.

Get clony from gamecopyworld, itis in german. i don't know if the english one is at that site yet! this prog will tell you what protection it uses and what settings to use in clonecd, it is a detection prog.

Thas is a good question. I can´t too. I can´t backup THe Fallen to my HardDisk, CloneCD founds BAd sector y take many times. What do I do? Continued o abort. If you do it answer me please. My email is: [email protected] Thanks
