ok m8 - bottom line - cd writers are usually bundled with EZCD creator for 2 reasons - 1st - its easy to use for beginners - stuff like copying audio cd's etc - no problems. 2nd its cack for copying games and other good stuff.

There are LOADS of cool burning programs out there and everyone has their favourites. Most can be found as demo's on the internet or from the cd utils part of game copy world.

As for your hardware - Im not familiar with samsung readers, but i guess it should be ok. The sony burner is EXCELLENT. Along with clonecd you should be able to back up most programs/ games without the need for patches etc. You will come unstuck trying to copy games that have SAFEDISK2 copy protection - the sony wont do it - but there are ways around that too.

I hope this has been helpful - u got my email if u need any more help.
