Sounds like you covered most of your bases here.. but I didn't notice you mentioning that you used any burning app that can read/write in RAW mode. I struggled with this damn game for 4 days before I slapped myself for not having tried CloneCD earlier. It gave me a perfect 1:1 copy of the CD.. here's to you SafeDisk! :P Anyway, if you haven't given it a shot, go for it... hopefully your burner will support RAW mode and you'll tame the SafeDisk beast.
