Most likely srep problem.

Try xtool:manvil:<core>+rep+xtool:dd3

However it is also possible to change srep settings with xtool with -sp option.
xtool:manvil:<core>:dd#:sp<options>:<srepversion>
Example: xtool:manvil:core_2.9.12:dd3:spa0,l512:393a
