Any advice on this matter would be greatly appreciated, as I want to get it right the first time.. Here in Australia, I am unaware of any places that does modchip modifications, so that might through a spanner in the works, so to speak.
ANSWER: Try

Oh, and I've made an image file of Davil May Cry PAL, but to do so, I had to convert to NTFS file system from FAT32, as the final file was over 4GB in length.. I hope it will burn back to a blank DVD ok and run fine with a DVD-R booting mod chip and without having to swap with something that has a larger TOC....
ANSWER: Should do. That's how PrimoDVD and Nero 5.5.6.4 work.

Brand new consoles would be v5, at least in the UK and US. v3 is old, but v3 & v4 are good. Neo2.5 (DVD) is the best version available to you then NEO2.2
Thanks very much for your swift response Charlie... you've been extremely helpful, and thankyou very much for the web links for us Australians..

Both you and Dust2Dust are what make this board such a great board for information.. the both of you are extremely helpful and patient..

Thanks again.

Oh, one other thing.... do the new DVD+RW DVD burners burn PS2 DVD backups successfully?? Do they work in a modded PS2?? I was thinking of getting a DVD+RW drive from HP, like the HP DVD100i or something... worthwhile????
