Booting Back-up DVDrs on NEO 4 Chipset.
I have got a pal PS2 with NEO 4 chipset in,i have followed the NEO 4 method for booting back-up DVDrs,using single swap method.I have got an origional DVD with TOC greater than the back-up DVDr game, all goes well but the final phase, when you have to release the eject button (THE DISC TRAY SHOULD FLY OUT ETC)The tray just stays in,and when i press eject it loses the GOLD DISC(centre of screen logo)so another words it loses all the TOC memory etc and goes back to NO DATA screen.( I am holding eject button at all times,as stated on the NEO 4 site)
I was wondering wether the clips on the disc tray should be removed,as it fells like the clips is pulling the tray right in etc. I am trying to boot a back-up copy of MGS2(i own import origional),MGS2 has capacity of 4.3G,While ORIGIONAL DVD TOC = 4.32G. ITS DRIVING ME NUTTY Can you please shed any light on this problem, Thanks,MARK. |

I have same system as you & disk tray ejects automatically when eject is released (as it should you do).As dust2dust says only possible explanation is faulty installation.
