I don't think there will be a crack for 1.01. Your best choices is A) getting the Playstation 2 version or B) waiting until GOG releases it (without DRM).

The problem with the mini image is that it doesn't remove the copy protection. The game may not even start with the original CD/DVD because its copy protection (Starforce drivers) are not compatible with your current Windows, they were made for older operating systems and, I'm sure, make use of undocumented features.

Still, you can try the programs that "hide" emulated CD/DVD drives so that copy protections will believe they are physically existing drives. See the FAQ for a list of them. (But they may not be compatible with your current Windows either.)
