A.I. Invasion (928 MB - Nothing ripped or removed)
Repack Name: A.I. Invasion
Compression Methods used: srep:m3f+lolz:dtb1:d512:dtb0:mtt0:tt1:mt2:fba256:m tb32:mc8 Media Ripped/Removed/Re-encoded: Nothing! Original Installed Size: 968 MB Original Repack Size: 928 MB My Repacked Size: 928 MB Compressed Output Size - 968 MB -> 928 MB Output file name: Data1.bin.001 Data2.bin.001 Data3.bin.001 Compression Time and specifications of hardware used: Quad @ 2.90 ghz - 14 GB RAM 4 GB Vram - 15-20 Min Decompression TIme: 5-7 Min on 2 cores, Less than 1-2 minutes on 4+ Repack made with Diskspan <c> Razor12911 and CIUv3 3.0.0.0u7 by Cesar82 & KakTor Note: Even though it appears to not have compressed at all, the difference is in the install time. the original took 10 minutes to install on my quad core desktop but my repack install only took 2-3 minutes at most. So no compression difference but much faster installer time. Last edited by Kitsune1982; 12-03-2020 at 09:04. |

Achtung! Cthulhu Tactics (812 MB)
Achtung! Cthulhu Tactics -
Original Size: 2.8 gb Installed Final Compressed Size: 812 MB Methods used: First Folder - xZLib+srep:m3f+msc+lolz:dtb1:d192m:mtt1:mt4:mc1023 Second Folder - srep:m3f+msc+xZLib+srep:m3f+msc+lolz:dtb1:d192m:mt t1:mt4:mc1023 Compression Time: 3 hours Decompression Time: 1-2 Minutes *If you all are wondering what I mean by '#-folder' in my compression methods, i will let you all in on a little secret. If you're dealing with a game with lots of small individual files and/or file types, such as .mov, .bik. mp4, in terms of movies, and files like .cpi from Far Cry, it is a lot more time effecient to split the game install folder up into individual folders. Like with the game Echo for example, I put all the highly compressable files in one folder and the .mp4 cutscene videos in a seperate folder. that way when compression time comes around, i can compress the high comp ratio files with one particular compressor and then just do a bare minimum compression on the movie files. your repack results may vary from file type to file type. just thought i'd clear this up and give a bit of insight on how i do things.* -Kitsune Last edited by Kitsune1982; 17-03-2020 at 13:40. |
