Precomp 048 Review
It's Been a while Since i made an update to precomp let alone praise it.
precomp 048 isn't available to public, unless you download the source from github and compile yourself. It's current state is early Beta i think. Here is a sample Photo of Syberia 1 pack with jpg streams mp3 streams and zlib streams. precomp047 Alpha took an astonishing 1 and half hours to complete the task while precomp048 took 2 minutes. precomp 048 posted here is compiled by me with speed options all maxed out ![]() you can also find CLS-precomp and precomp048 to my Mask Additions.

Don't get me wrong, i won't replace Xtool and Ztool with precomp.
it's an addition because precomp is preprocessing jpg and mp3. South Park works better with precomp try it

it is possible to use ooz in repack however, let me say why it's a BAD idea though,
even if: 1) make it work with stdio via patch or 2) make it work with chunks and cls 3) ooz is slower than lolz, and gives worse ratio too. ooz is based on oodle, oodle is a gaming compression API therefore games release compressed with it already Games like FIFA and Sekiro use it out of the box. we have made a precompressor for it, xtool uses oodle and a separete tool called poodle. why would someone want to use xtool + srep + ooz? I have seen people go as far as to use xtool + srep + zstd, zstd is even worse than ooz. I will try to pop cls for it here if you want for benchmarks
