Need a tip how to copy "Pulleralarm"

I bought the german Game "Pulleralarm" some days ago. A friend borrowed the cd from me and when I got it back it looked horrible... so I need to copy it before I can't use it anymore.
I copied it to a RW .. well it didn't work.. broke up at 97% .. I gave it a friend to try.. same there
anyone knows what I can do to copy it?
