Well it seems like the scanner is improved.

dmc2-0.nbz:
xtool: 409 MB > 1.48 GB > 162 MB
ztool: 409 MB > 1.44 GB > 181 MB

DMCL-0.nbz:
xtool: 165 MB > 617 MB > 130 MB
ztool: 165 MB > 560 MB > 148 MB

I have to run more tests though to confirm this.
