i want to install the sof GOLD patch but i get a msg the the registry is missing/invalid.. how can i install this 26MB patch?

the error msg i get :

missing or invalid registry/INI entry
and then:
old file doesnt exist

If you have a cracked .exe-file the patch will not work! So go and delete you whole SoF from your harddisk, reinstall it (full) and apply the patch once more - this should help! Cracks are on www.gamecopyworld.com !

tnx man... but the problem is that i dont have the installation files- i got a CD with the image if the already installed SOf.-so i just copy the cd to my HD and it works (only one reg key-for the cd KEY)

i get this error msg:
