STrange Red Alert 2 happenings...
Okay, when I copy this game using CloneCD (and even Blindread/Write) I get what looks like a 1:1 copy (of course I guess).
But when I try to install it...the CD will just 'whir' and 'click' in the drive (like its having trouble reading it)..and do absolutly nothing but that until I CTRL+ALT+DEL and shutdown 'Setup' in the program manager. What's the deal here? The original CD is also bigger than a norm 650meg CD and asks to be overburnt when burning a copy. Could the size of the data being bigger (and thus overburnt) have anything to do with it? |

I never have used that program myself, but here some info you may or may not know.
Refer to subject message: Anyone have a WORKING crack for RA2???? For details on making the GCW backup crack workable. The files are not bigger than a 650mg cd but the originals say it is. You only find this out if you copy the contents of the CD to your HD. You could use a 700mg CD if you still want a 1:1 copy, as far as I know. Hope this may help. |
