when no patching is involved yes it is. because clonecd is the only program that makes a 1:1 copy of the original game. Paying special attention to the subchannel data area where the libertycrypt protection lies. when u come upon a game that is protected u will need a program called cdrwin to apply the patch to the game that u are trying to backup.

Once again many many thanks mate. When i come across the patch proplem, i will not hesitate to ask you guys/girls on here. Have plenty of games to back-up, i found a list of games with no protection. So can i just do a copy on clonecd, or do i still have to save to hd first??? Thanks again in advance for your help, Oldtimer.
