About Black CDR

do these cd's work better for burning games than the normal ones or there just the same ??

You can buy black CD's but its not the secret to PSX protection. Personally - Find good quality media - Gold, Silver, Pink etc... Its a branding & image thing.

The problem with black CDs is light diffusion depending on their construction. A Black top PRESSED CD has different physical properties from a Black top BURNED CD. My advice is to avoid them and go for blues or greens for best laser response.

I use PNY black diamond and have had no problems, my reading on this subject is some burners have trouble with the black disk it's not the disk itself. Most of the newer burners shouldn'thave any trouble!!
