The -mm option natively included in the first version of FreeArc 040 using the method TrueAudio, adding filter GRZIP and MM at the command line.
I have not used for a long time, but if I remember correctly is addressed for better compression on audio files, less on video.
You might try to make a comparison between..with the same files.
