Yes
Some psx backups would not load they just kept trying. You can hear the disk spinning very fast making a lot of noise but just not loading. adjusting the laser to just over 600 ohms made them work fine. You could try your backup disk on a mates ps2 and see if it loads ok on that. best wishes adders
