If you have set the Commandline to "\Silent" you can't see the Installation of DX. It Installs silent in Background. Empty the Commandline and the DX Installer will pop up at end of Installation. Be also sure you have named the right path for DX (ex.: Support\DirectX\DIRECTX.exe). And the pre-install switch must be set to off, for Installing DX from DVD2.
