!!!Dance Dance Disaster!!! - Can you help?

i coppied it straight from the real disk. would the program i use make a difference, eg nero, Clone cd etc or will a patch work, like a ntsc to pal.
What seems strange to me is that it is not a continuos gap between sound and picture, but it gats larger the longer you play. Is it processing the sound faster than the picture as the picture dose relate to what it is reading from the controller (when i press a button it registers it on the screen like normal)
