Is internal modchip compatible with EA Sports PS2?

if you have a pal uk ps2 with the neo2 modchip with ar2 you have to put yout ar2 disk in,turn off the machine and hold reset,turn the machine on again but release the rest button when the menu comes up,the tray will come out,then quickly swop the disk ,the tray will shut and load as normal.or try
using the patches on ea games,or get a #### modchip
