In 1920x1080 monitors the biks look bad

but fits in 1Dvd5 and that is appreciated

instead of data rate@65000 try as 45 % of Original, see if it make a difference with one file ( use the original to test from ), in your specified resolution.

Update: I managed to get the conversion working under Windows 7 x86, BUT I too had to downsample the video files, although it was due to some DLC-related files that I have acquired from Steam - thank you peterf1999 & Xaelin (and everyone here).

Can you help me with this conversion, I'm getting a ISprecompextract error message at the end of the installation preceeded by a bunch of symbols. You can find the image of the error below:

Again, this is Russian (CP1251) viewed in the wrong code page (CP1252). It says "Неверно задан входно файл для ISPrecompExtract!" which translates to "Invalid input file specified for ISPrecompExtract!"

the filename in your FINAL brink.arc should show 'pak000.sdpk2'

But anyway, if you overwritten original pak000.sdpk2 (with peterf's command) and precomp did the job correctly then you just need to change the extension by adding ".pcf" to your pak000.sdpk2 (precompressed).
So your precompressed pak000.sdpk2 become pak000.sdpk2.pcf!

Hey all.
I am having a little issue right now.
I have the Skidrow Version of Brink (5gb)(it isnt enough for a DVD5)..
So all i want to do is to push to a DVD5, but my issues starts when the game installation folder isnt the same from the original one, making me confused in which files are missing, or which files i need to complete in all the rip..

By the way, i had to install the game in order to get "pak000.sdpk2", i precompressed and Compressed it...

the "all the files" i grabbed within the game´s files..
And the base folder, except the "pak000.sdpk2" is located where is suposed to be..

Before doing the Rip, please can someone garantee that will work?
