Saints Row: The Third (2x DVD5) *INNO+RAR*

1) Extract 'SRTT_2xDVD5.7z' contents

2) Move from Game's installation folder :

'DirectX' folder to 'SRTT_2xDVD5\Disk1' folder
'videos' folder to 'SRTT_2xDVD5\Disk1' folder
all files in the root of the Game's installation folder to 'SRTT_2xDVD5\Disk1\binaries' folder

3) Launch Winrar and then compress the following files in 'packfiles\pc\cache' folder:

cutscenes.vpp_pc
sounds_common.vpp_pc
sr3_city_0.vpp_pc
voices.vpp_pc

Output archive: Data1.bin
Compression Method: Fast
Archive format: RAR

and then compress all files (except the files already compressed in Data1.bin) in 'packfiles\pc\cache' folder:

Output archive: Data2.bin
Compression Method: Fast
Archive format: RAR

4) Move 'Data1.bin' to 'SRTT_2xDVD5\Disk1' folder & 'Data2.bin' to 'SRTT_2xDVD5\Disk2' folder

5) Burn or make isos with label names of your choice

I'd like the backup to be just like my original & also install like the original too.

Steam backup you can select size (DVD5)
and he will make you 2x DVD5

i can't add all files in the root of game and in pack files to winrar ..... can you tell me how to do it ?? any screenshots etc. ?? thank you for help

you DONT add all files in the root of the game pack to winrar.. you MOVE them to the binaries subfolder of where you extracted peter's archive..

IE: F:\SRTT_2xDVD5\Disk1\binaries

So, i have a bug in introduction (like the Star Wars), the screen goes black and does not show up the letters.
So I press ESC and skip normally the introduction and continue the game, this is what happened because I includes reslists folder?
Any solution? Sorry my english...

Yea I had the same problem with the converted version.
So when i compared the original with the conversion i noticed the "videos" folder copied properly but renamed to "video" without the "s".
I manually renamed it back to "videos" on the conversion installation and now works 100%.
Not sure if Peter picked it up in his conversion or not. Anyways great job. Wish i could do what you do.

You are right!
Fixed, replace the old setup.exe with new one.
Added compact view also to this installer!

not working for me, i tried 4 times, every time same problem. I get to chose where i want to instal and then : "Setup/Uninstall has stopped working"
