Where do you get useable trainers these days?

I am going to suggest my team obviously -> dEViATED. We have been increasing our release activity which was the #1 complaint our members had and covering almost all major game titles so you should find trainers for a lot of new games. A trainer for MW3 and Skyrim/La Noir will be released within a week or two so you can wait for them. We are semi-paid though and do free trainers from time to time, MW3 will be free.

Well I am a gamer myself and when i can't be arsed to make a trainer myself, i use others. These are people i trust and have found their trainers working: Geri, Dr.olle, deltasomething. Oh and perhaps kemicza but he's fully paid now and i am guessing you want free trainers but he puts his best into trainers, was my team-mate before he left so i know him well.

I would NOT suggest Lingon and would tell you to stay away from him because he protects his trainers with VMProtect, blocks countries, most of asian countries,has a whitelist of countries in his trainers and i don't know put a lot of nasty/suspicious stuff in his trainers, his trainer NEVER worked for me. I never bothered to debug his trainers and thought he was just a fake after getting kicked from CES/gamehacking, until Sunbeam told me that he uses VMProtect.

If he feels the need to protect his trainers with a professional protector, block some countries and doesn't care it breaks his trainers for a lot of people, i wouldn't trust that guy one bit. He could be doing nasty stuff to my computer and i wouldn't know because to check his trainer, i need to learn VMprotect unpacking heh.

I stopped packing my trainers with upx because AVs flagged them as malware which was an inconvenience for most users and i have seen almost all good trainer-makers don't pack their trainers or use packers only for reducing filesize.

As for h4x0r, i don't know, their trainers worked for me but after they put the DRM bullshit, i never bothered even if theirs is the only trainer available. We were pissed off from game companies putting DRM crap and now we have to see DRM in trainers ? Seriously ? lol. I can bash them for like hours for doing this but another time maybe

First of all STN, What a pittyfull way to try to gain populatiry with talking trash about these other trainermakers.
first of all i know LinGon very well since i talk to him eveery ones on a while and second he was not kicked out from CES/Gamehacking
he decided he dident want to be apart of it himself and decided to quit, and his trainers are nothing of the kind of what you try
so hard to make people believe they are, this is a pure fail in your quest trying to make people dislike those who apparently make aloot better and more enjoyable trainers
then you can make yourself and posting about it like this only makes you look stupid.

Claims without facts to back them up are called "opinions" and they are part of free speech which we do support on this forum. You have your own opinion (you haven't backed up your claims with fact!) which is also fine. What is not fine is your style!

Also, as far as I can see, STN made some relevant points:

1. People who protect their executables in multiple ways may have something else to hide, too. (See malware downloads on fake warez sites for a good example. They sometimes not even get caught by virus scanners!) I'm not sure how good a fact this is but I know you know it's true: people who have nothing to hide should be trusted more than those hiding something. Let me give you an example... Ever heard of "security by obscurity" in commercial software? It does not work, it gets cracked eventually. Ever heard of "symmetric key cryptography" in open source software? It works because knowing the exact algorithm does not help you much with cracking the encryption in a reasonable amount of time.

2. DRM sucks, for any reason, in any form. Does this even need an explanation?!

You haven't answered my post in the other thread so I don't even know which side - if sides are disjunct in this topic at all - you are on. It is, actually, you who started flaming others in both threads (an example from the other: "these trainermakers just continues to show how pathetic they are"). We're interested in everyone's opinions but if you continue like this then you'll be banned soon!

Here goes more simply put: CH is more after your money and h4x0r he brings out free trainer atleast.

Well also it doesnt take more then an idiot to realise why some of these said trainermakers takes messures to protect their trainers.

I first asked you to rephrase slang in your posts in the other thread because h4x0r especially does not understand them - you surely knew that - and, as you can see, it resulted in a flame war without any real reason. Have you filled my request? Nope. Have I banned you? Nope. Have I banned h4x0r? Neither but, believe me, he got his warning from me because, although I understand his anger when people start bashing him, his way of answering provocations with provocations is not tolerated. (He already got banned for a few months once.)

Then I tried to reason with you in this thread, asking you to drop the attitude because it's not tolerated here - not against me, against anyone! -, but it was also in vain. STN wrote down his opinion in an acceptable style, you didn't. If you always have to insert personal insults into your discussion then you're on the wrong forum. We're, at least, trying to be very open-minded about opinions and I was interested in yours, too, but did you know that, on some other forums, you would've been banned the first time you criticized a moderator? (Actually, it's also in our forum rules but we don't enforce it, only against stiff people like you seem to be.)

We're not affiliated with CheatHappens, Deviated, h4x0r or any other trainer maker. Empire's principle - which you don't seem to know or, rather, are ignoring on purpose - is that it is in GCW's visitors' interest to offer as much stuff as possible. Yes, even stuff whose authors, distribution methods etc. we personally don't agree with. Why? Because visitors righteously don't give a fuck about our opinions, they only want free downloads which is what GCW has been providing for a decade and a half. That also shows our impartiality.

Have you seen me criticizing h4x0r's DRM? Have you read about my frustration that he wouldn't listen to me? (You haven't seen my similar PM's to him, though, and there were a lot of them! You also haven't seen our private correspondence with the other moderators.) Or are you ignoring those on purpose, too? If you think I'm banning people simply because they don't agree with me then that's a serious accusation. However, your questioning my competence as a moderator results only in a laugh from me because I know it's false and I cannot be bothered with such insults anymore.

As for protecting software, it is invariably always cracked. (The only exception could be when noone, not even crackers, are interested in a piece of software because noone uses it.) Devising extremely sophisticated protections only delays cracks but not inhibit them. You, with your opinion of protecting everything as much as possible, are on one extreme end of the spectrum; I, on the other hand/end, say: release the whole source and then, by definition, noone can steal from you, thus drawing the teeth of the problem so simply. (I already mentioned this before in one of our announcement.) I assume you won't comprehend the point of this but that's only because of your narrow-mindedness, which I can do nothing about except giving you such a lecture to ponder upon. And, yes, open source software also gets "stolen" (read: included in commercial software without releasing the full source, which violates the original licence, e.g. GPL) but curious people find that out, too.

As you can see, I avoided personal insults. However, I find it ridiculous that when I threat you with banning you for your style (not your message!) then you threat me with becoming a martyr, to be followed and worshipped by the poor other non-agreers, on the altar of free speech if you do get banned. It not only doesn't make me "more of a man" to ban you, I won't even raise my eyebrow because there will be nothing to be surprised about for either of us.

You know what, i wrote a giant post about lingon and his history but as i just finished it, i feel like why the fuck do i care what he/you thinks. I can't please everyone, people who knows me/appreciate my work will ignore the bullshit so nope, i am not responding to you.

I will just ask you one question though since i am really curious. How come you know i sent Lingon a friend request on Youtube ? Youtube doesn't announce publicly that STN sent lingon a friend request so either you are lingon yourself or YOU ARE LINGON yourself !. BTW, i sent a request not because i like him or are a fan lol, it was because i wanted to send him a message and to do that, he had to be my friend first (privacy option in youtube). What message i wanted to send ? well its obvious, stop fucking using vmprotect and blocking countries because that is scary/suspicious and the latter being racist. Because i am asian/russian/[insert blocked country name], i can't use my trainers ?. This has to be more racist thing than calling someone nigger because you are descriminating whole continents and countries/races .

@emptieness: I wouldn't go into why i am doing semi-paid (i actually explained in my giant post) but it doesn't require much thought. To run a site with mediocrish traffic like DVT, you need money.

As for debugging my trainers, i guess its fine and appreciate you being honest about it. But i would have liked if you actually asked me directly, like i said in the trainer itself, i would give codes out if you ask me and feel the request is genuine/coming from someone who wouldn't rip my work but i obviously frown upon stealing. But its okay, thanks for letting me know, at least you aren't like others who secretly debug and publicly talk low of me/DVT or publicly don't appreciate my stuff like it is nothing. And i know of more than a few people.

when there is a lack of a specific trainer for a certain game, I usually check out cheat engine.com at the table section, Geri, Recifense, MOP and other big and small time table/trainer makers make some decent to very awesome trainers, even to not-so-famous games like Europa Univeralis 3 and Hearts of Iron 3.
