EDIT: I'll use this post and ask for the scripts used in this installer too, Peterf1999! XD
Of course, if possible. If not, oh well... ![]() Quote:
![]() EDIT: Oops, my mistake! This one seems to NOT use IsDone.dll, but includes built-in support for PreComp and FreeArc. That should be enough. Unfortunately, my "googling" by "ISdone.dll" leads me to... eh... Carribean? ¬¬ BTW, try these installer examples as reference: http://fileforums.com/showpost.php?p...7&postcount=11 The "Xenus 2" custom installer uses ISDone.dll. I don't know how these scrips can help you, but try these too! http://rghost.net/users/shegorat/ As it contains the codes of the NFS Undercover custom installer: ![]() Maybe it can help you somehow... For now, that's the best help I can give to you. Good luck, and greetings from Brazil too! o/ ... But before I forget, all the links I posted here came from "russian forums" as well, so there's no excuse. =P~ Some of the "source codes", as I said before, comes with a very basic DOCumentation file (I forgot if it's PDF, PPT or DOC... but it may be in russian too ¬¬) and... to talk the truth, unless you want to TRULLY LEARN the codes and//or modify the unpacking scripts, it shouldn't be that hard to just "modify" the right parameters (You'll search a lot, yet there are just a few parameters to be changed, as I could notice in peterf1999's F1 2010 script) and BANG! New custom installer on the HDD! And I know nothing about pascal. :P Last edited by KillerOh; 19-08-2011 at 23:17. |

If I remember well, these InnoSetup custom installers use the game's registry keys to detect if it's installed or not. It's a surprise that autorun haven't enabled UNINSTALL instead of INSTALL this time... Anyway, in all (or nearly all) times it happens with Peterf's conversion, it's because people FORGET to uninstall the game after test the installer. But sometimes even the original installer left some "leftovers" to be manually deleted. So it's recommended you: - Use Revo Uninstaller or similat tool to uninstall the game, instead of the original uninstaller; - Use cCleaner's registry cleaner to temove these "registry" leftovers; - And, for games with .MSI (Or .MSI-based) installers, The Windows Installer Clean Up is what you need. Alternatively, buy a DVD9 Media and do the backup. Lot less hassle, much more easier. ¬¬ |
