can someone please tell me how do you extract a patch to an image file, i,ve looked on game copy world but it does not make much sense, so could someone please help.

extract the patch into a folder open up ppf-o-matic and it will ask for a ppf file put the patch in there (just click on the floppy disc image) and it the bin file put your image and then apply now the patch is in the image just burn back your cue file with cdrwin (you need to unzip the patch into the folder because ppf-o-matic cann't unzip it)
