ok guys now am I missing something here or does this game have different protection to the usual EA games? I've tried every which way to patch this damn thing but no joy. If it helps i can't even find the .img file once i've created an image using CloneCD

Triple Play Baseball has no IMG file so you can't use the EA Universal Patcher .

Ok so it's late here and I'm really missing the point I guess, any chance of walking me through exactly what i do to patch this game? I downloaded the patcher like you said but still haven't gotten it to work

what file do i want to extract right away with cdr-win? since there is no image file, what file must i use?

you can also use the ppf-o-matic patch at ps2ownz.com. you must create a bin, cue file with cdrwin and use ppf to patch the bin file

yes i know that but what file do u extract to create the bin, cue file because there is no image file or anything, and i havent been able to view ps2ownz website for some reason. what do i do

again, you still have not answered my question, i ask what file do i extract off the cd to create the .bin and .cue, cuz usually there is an .img file, but this game does not have that, so what file do i extract????????

i know how to burn games ive done about 20 of them, but there is no image file to extract with CDRWIN, so i need to know what file i use to extract, i think i have made that clear to you, and you still havent answer my question, does anybody else know what to do???? i appreciate your help, but you havent answered it.

I have answered your question 3 times, you dont seem to be able to understand. Use cdrwin to create a image on your HD.(Its the third box from the left on the top), If you know how to copy games then this shouldn't be a problem, It will create a bin/cue file in the directory you choose to save it in. Use ppf-o-matic along with the patch and apply it to the bin file. Then open cdrwin, and burn the bin/cue back to cdr.
