PS2 backup questions

1. The games, how will i know if i need to patch them before i burn them onto a disc?

2. the action replay 1.4, will it be the same as 1.3 in terms of compatiability with modchips?

Go to one of the patch sites...like http://www.megagames.com/psx/psx_patches.shtml If there is no patch there the chances r is that it is not protected. There is also a site for #####ing releases of patches......might be a link on that site cant remember.

Ok if you using neo2 and ar2 there is no need to patch any games to date if you have the new v4 ps2 the ar2v 1.4 is the only version that will work with that model if you have normal ps2 all is the same.

@bot-ck not very good example to set the kids m8 get rid of that sig
