Well, I found the Gameshark image to download in a different site with another file seperated from the image with an .sfv extension.
Does this mean anything to you? My guess is this is a file that you can somehow place on a memory card to make it "act" like a gameshark key. The question is: if this is actually the case, how can you transfer a PC file to a mem card? |

I suggest you make this a new topic without my name in it! I know very little about GS/AR as I dont use it.

Charlie can you tell me how you burned the ar 1.7 to cd?
I have downloaded from the site you mentioned. Once unzipped and unpacked it produced a cue sheet and a bin file which i suppose is normal except when i try to burn it with cdr win it only seems to burn a small amount of the data. Another program which checked the size of the cue and bin files said that they were too big to fit on one cd. Any ideas? Regards ARGO. |

Thanks Charlie for replying iv'e got it now.
That Messiah chip looks good in your list of hardware, i was quoted last week £125 for one fitted by a local chipping company and i'm still thinking about it. They told me the are being supplied from somewhere in Spain. In the mean time i'll just use the knife/tray method which i know you don't like but i find it dead easy in fact i don't use a knife at all i think its the thought of sticking a knife in there that makes it sound so brutal. Anyway thats a different subject and thanks again you've been one of the top guys on site for a long time now. ARGO |
