PS2 DVD Game Backups??

Can anyone out there help me??? I own X-Games Snowboarding and unfortunately its a DVD. I dont really care for the 1.3 GIG of Mpeg 2 Video....is there a way to back up the game and rip the video out of the image file??? (DownSample the video somehow?) PLEASE HELP!

Hi,

The same problem is bugging me, but I've been told you should be able to downsample the video and audio files on the disc using cooledit. I'll keep you posted on this matter.

I'm waiting for the ripping guide m8. I have a suspicion that the guide won't be around for a while yet though...

If I figure out how, or get any more information, I'll post it on BackBurner.

They have already ripped them....I know that I can get Orphen backed already...is there ny software that can enter an ISO image and rip files out and replace them?? Or can there be a way to re-create the Mode 2 image of the game with files from a HDD.

I almost had luck with X-Games...replacing the MPEG 2 files with a Small one already on the CD....Started and Froze!!!!!!!!!!!

To solve all your problems here:

To copy a game thats in DVD format, you need a drive that can write DVD's two. If the disk ti 1.3 giga bytes, you need a Drive that Can write DVD's and DD-R disks(double dinsity) This drive won't be out to after the summer, and will cost about 1,200
