i simply didn't use YASU
only mounted the mini-image

Except for latest SecuROM 7.40 YASU should work on the vast majority of systems.
Does not have to. As i said....has nothing to do with SR, simply basic system settings and so on. If you have a lot of trash on your system and don't have the knowledge, the case that it's not working is very high.
