Your PSX is not a 100x or a 550x you mentioned that it was a 7501, well this is the model number of you PSX. 750 is the model and 1 is its region. 1 defines NTSC and 2 defines PAL. 100x and 550x were just two of the models released before the 750x and 900x

I also use an HP writer and CDRWin so it looks as if the trouble is due to the patch.

Have any US members got a working backup of CRASH BASH with a mod chip installed?
