why is it gone?

Two days ago, I saw a message from a guy
saying he made a patch for final fantasy 9.
About 3 hours later, it was gone. I was on the
site and the patch did not work ,and as I sent
him a mail, he sent me modified versions of it.
Obviously, it all looks like crap to me.
Did the post get deleted because it doesnt work?

The post was deleted because the poster (da-wanker) is an arsehole who delights in posting fake software so that people can waste cds in the vain belief that he actually has something that is impossible to have.
Unfortunately we cannot keep an eye on the board for 24 hours a day so hopefully people have enough brains to think before rushing off to these sites that are put up by these no hopers.
He is not the only one that does this.
