I Have A Disc Of Gangland, but am unable to play on Vista:
Copy Protection: This application can be launched with a release version of Miscrosoft Windows 95/98/ME/NT 4.0/2000/xp/ Server 2003.

Did you try to start the game in Windows XP Compatibility mode?
Just richt-click the main executable, select the Compatibilty tab & select the "Run this program in compatibilty for: Windows XP (Service Pack 2)"
