The only thing you need the Disc for is to play Nazi Zombies and the Single Player part of the game.
However, the Single Player part of the game can be played with a NoCD crack.

The Disc is not needed in the Drive to play Multiplayer online.

But YES Nazi Zombies does need the Disc in the drive to play online.
