I made a mistake by not closing the thread, being against forum rule #1, right away because I thought something useful would come out of it. The lesson to me: there really is NO EXCEPTION to the rules!
Thread closed. The the original poster: Please, try again on a PC that does have a CD/DVD drive. If you still get the same problem, PM me to re-open the thread.
