PAL video is a higher resolution than NTSC if you play a PAL game on an NTSC TV some of the screen gets cut off

I play an NTSC game on a PAL tv. So you mean that when playing a NTSC game on a PAL tv that a chunk is missing because the resolution is smaller? I never had this with my ps2 games. But the ps1 games had very small resolutions. I talked to someone last night who said that the pstwo model had bad ps1 support. The backward compatibility is only for the region that the game is bought. That should mean that even after you modded your pstwo that it won't view ps1 games properly when it is a NTSC game on a PAL system. I have read a lot of posts about this issue. I don't know if it is true but i think it is. But the problem can also be my tv. Who knows. But this can not be solved with some kind of trick? I can play the game in full screen (widescreen) but that looks od but it's better than nothing. A jewel like chrono cross can not stay unplayed. |
