Tell me, if we make backup of some game and that backup for example is image of 7 gigs can we burn that image on DVD9 and play the game.
Do we need than some kind of loader or firmware or maybe some hardware change of chip for playing games. Sorry on my bad english, i have Ps3 only for a month TX

Unless I'm mistaken BD-R is 25 gigs and BD-R DL is 50 gigs..
So If a PS3 game that is actually 25 gigs I don't see it happening on DVD-R DL/DVD+R DL which holds around 7.96 I believe.. Unless like the earlier days of PS2 where hack groups were down sizing games..For example was Xenosaga 1 when DL discs were expensive so hack group downsize the game to a 4.38 gigs..
