it still is a simply cd-check only (editor is even unprotected)
 the tools searches for a special byte sequence, the developers just changed it a bit wich results in the tool not working anymore...

Thanks men for replying. The Universal Patcher still works on the editor, not the game .exe. I've read some tutorials and some the ASM guides. Anyone who can do patching and fixing .exe's deserves a standing ovation.
