Do you have KB917422 installed? That caused some games to fail if I recall!

If SP2 is up to date though it may have been updated so that point is moot!

Microsuucks put so many padlocks on Vista than locked it's own users. I have lots seen Linux Distros more easy to get access premission that on that user get root than pile of crap OS. In terms of gamming more games once that could get install andt he installer didn't those stupid problems installing for the need on an admin account when really was an admin account for me generally worked well. I didn't see so many compatibity problems with games like for example from 98 ot XP before the service packs. Of course there was some on my collection that didn' wokedon vista but other worked better than xp did for me. But in other terms the OS piece of scrap. Lots of BSOsds. Some games that didn't validate the original cd when I was really putting the original cd until I used no cd cracks when on Xp did it. Some other when try to validate the cd just did BSOD and restarted.until used no cd too One time some guy i know bring his computer to fix some things. He accidentally put in the startup some utilty from windows for people with disabilites he course didn't need and slowndowd the computer . The easy on XP was just renamming file (coz i couldn t find in msconfig.exe and services in administrative tool to quit from starttup) but this Vista thing has now some thing called ownership in of it's system files that didn't let me rename the nasty program even you are the admin of the system. I had to boot in safe mode use some ridiculus command in the dos mode just to the the ownwership of that file and rename it. Man when i saw that I felt like M$ though were the owner of our own machines: Man I just dumped that crap and moved to Linux. I can't play many play games as can do Windows of course. But lots more stable no BSODs no restarts installing any stupid program coz registry crap. The perfomance is better when watching videosl/listen music or opening a lot of programs like that crap of windows media player . I don't need to downlad a bunch of codecs just to get flvs video work or other formats. I can modify a bunch of things internally that bunch M$ idiots don't let coz it's closed source and customize more what I want.I guess one of downfalls of Vista was that slow development in all: Took ages get released (more than 5 years). IE7 took too to much, started other web standards in other browsers (like Firefox or Opera) that made look iE as thing of the past. Direct X10 it's time you can't yet lots games programmed for it. Those guys neeed to not the delay the service pack1 more If they don't want more people downgrade from Vista to XP coz I know several that have done that. i mean it seems going to be released on April. if not maybe they will give themselves with foot again if there is another delay. And even with the Service pack sure will a lot to fix. I read on some news that the new beta SP made things fast but made slow others. But well can't be atken as still a final result since it's still not finished

Ah, I see the problem. You misunderstand me.

I didn't mean to suggest they didn't have the full game, only that they didn't have it installed on their machines. Some actually do that, but most that I ever worked with just dumped the disk to the HD and worked on it.

I know of two people currently who never test their cracks, they just "know" they work. Sometimes they don't, though.

Anyway, it doesn't even matter. This crack is vista only, and perhaps it should be listed as such on the site?
