Orange Box Half Life 2

Hi ,Ive just brought the Orange Box on PC .
I'm pretty keen to make Working backups of the discs there are 2 of them.
I can't find a No-DVD/Fixed EXE on Game Copy World.
Can someone please help me .

Isnt the orange box only steam protection, as in online checks. If so the DVD's should be protectionless.

If you check the subsection CD-2-DVD in the PC sections, you may find a way of backing up your Orange Box discs.

But You might find its against rules for this scenario, I'll leave that to the moderators to decide.

I don't think it's forbidden to make a backup, but AFAIK the discs are connected to the unique serial provided. Also, when you have installed the games in Steam, there is no more need for the discs.

Why do u need a no cd?

U don't need the discs when the game is installed, only Steam to see if u are a legal owner of ur discs

If already this many people say the same, it's probably true. You don't need a backup for either installing or playing the game. Thread closed.
