if i remember right the cdcheck was simplistic, u tried making an image with daemon tools etc meanwhile?
also, scratched disk puts u in a 'gray' area, where your best course of action might be to contact the publisher for a replacment disk...

Sorry, no working original => no support on this forum (forum rule #1). You might also try the toothpaste method or getting a second-hand copy on Ebay. Thread closed.
