what brand of cdr's are best for burning

im using traxdata 80min and kodak silver/gold 74min cdr's for burning psx with nero 5.I find that my copies music skips,is this my laser or the brand of cdr's.
Are the blues better than the greens(cdr's)

I use Sony CD-R CDQ-74CN...they are bluish green in color and havent failed me once yet.

When burning playstation discs you want a disc that is as
dark as possible or the playstation will not read it properly so the video or sounds jump

One of the best i have found is Verbatim discs as they are very dark on the underside

I use a HP 8100i with CDRWin 3.8D,
I can use any kind of CDR and never have a coaster.
Also burn at 2x and 4x
