dos window? now that really does sound wrong
dos window usually implies 2 things... 1. its a console mode application, in which case its ok 2. its a screwed file, that was never executable, so windows tries to load it 'legacy' style (old dos), and it doesnt work sounds like its 2 for you.. check your files....
