I have a few questions about sorttxt files.

The files are ready-to-use? 1st_read.bin is usually the number 0 in the sort files. It means it has the lower LBA? (inner part of disk, near the hole). Because mkisofs interpret it as priority, that's the contrary thing! It put the lower number file in the end of CD (higher LBA). 1st_read.bin is really the outter file? Or I have to invert the numbers in the sorttxt so I can put 1st_read.bin in the inner area? I'm confuse. 1st_read.bin usually has the lower or higher LBA?

P.S: Sorry DarkFalz, I asked you before but I was not sure about what mkisofs does with the filelist, but now I am.

Thanks all o/

1st_read.bin is the last file on the gd-rom (or cd-rom for a backup) it makes it being accessed faster since the DC read discs in CAV (Constant Angular Velocity) with means the cd spin at a constant speed (or velocity) and that the laser read according to this. Since there's more data (for a full revolution of the disc) at the outter edge of the disc thana t the inner, the reading speed is greater. So a 12x CAV reader will read the inner ring at ~6x and th outter ring at ~13x.

If you can't understand what I wrote because I'm not clear or because of any other reason, here's the general idea: The sort files are OK, the 1st_read.bin is at the outter edged of the disc, because it makes it being read at a faster speed than at the inner ring.

Thank you.
